Family Camp / July 1-16, 2023



Throughout July 1-16, OVPC is welcoming many ministry guests to deliver programs to all ages.  With many family-fun filled events taking place, we invite you to see our schedule below.  During the afternoons, families can rent watercraft equipment, enjoy our recreational facilities, borrow fishing equipment, and more. 


Service Schedule:

Services run daily, with the exception of Saturdays from July 2-July 16 for all ages. From Weecamper Ministry to Adult Ministry, our guests are eagerly awaiting to bring God's word to everyone.

Family Camp Special Events:

Week 1 was filled with many amazing memories for the team!  Continue reading to learn of Week 2 events. 


July 9 / Missions Sunday featuring many special guests at both the morning and evening services, with a special offering goal of $16,000 to bless several missionary families. 


July 12 / BYOV (Bring your own verse) afternoon at the beach at 2 p.m., where campers are invited to share their favourite bible verse with others.


July 15 / Horseshoe Tournament at 10:30 a.m., Click here to register in pairs .  Spectators and cheering squads welcome!


Food Services: Our dining hall and tuck shop is open daily for meals and snacks, and we are thrilled to announce that Chef Matt and team are back for another amazing season in the camp kitchen!  Meals will be served beginning July 1 at Supper, through until Lunch on July 16.  The tuck shop will be open daily as well, with the option to open a tuck tab for the family.

    rev. craig luff

    Craig Luff has been pastoring in Western Ontario for over 25 years, including speaking at conferences and camps. Currently, Craig and his wife Cora are part of the Directional Lead Team at Calvary Pentecostal Assembly in Cambridge, ON, a multi-campus church.  He serves as the Executive Pastor of Ministries. Beyond being a passionate communicator and huge Leafs fan, Craig is the father of three daughters (one married), and grandpa to one amazing little guy named Max.

    rev. john raymer

    Rev. John Raymer began ministry in 1978. John has pastored four churches and successfully planted two churches. He has also travelled extensively as an evangelist and ministered with signs and miracles throughout Canada and globally. His message continues to encourage the church to enter into the fullness of Holy Spirit and receive from Him in our everyday lives.  John continues as an itinerant minister, bringing the message of faith and hope to this generation both young and old.

    steve & Jessica aud

    Steve Aud has served in many different pastoral roles throughout the past 20 years.  Currently Steve, along with this wife Jessica, is serving as the pastor of worship and creative arts at Community Pentecostal Church in Orleans. Steve and Jessica believe that worship is a corporate experience which crosses generational boundaries, with the sole purpose of lifting Jesus higher.

    Rev. heather broomer

    Heather Broomer has called Trinity Pentecostal Church in Oshawa, Ontario, home for over 20 years. In 2015, Heather left her health care job to return to school and begin pastoral ministry. She became Trinity's Lead Pastor in 2020. Heather is a passionate teacher and loves to empower believers to be bold and active in their faith. She and her husband Wayne have three adult daughters, one son-in-law, and the most adorable dog in the world.

    rev. tim gibb

    Pastor Tim Gibb is ordained with the PAOC and serves as the Lead Pastor at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Sarnia.  Raised in a Pastor's home, Tim is a 4th Generation Pentecostal Preacher. His passion is for Revival and Missions work. In 2006, he led in a revival season, marked with healing miracles, which resulted in 20 weeks of nightly services and saw people travel to Bethel from 15 States and 7 Provinces. This revival was featured in the Sept. 2006 issue of Charisma magazine, as well as television programs 100 Huntley Street and CBN News Watch. In Missions, Pastor Tim has conducted preaching crusades in Uganda, Kenya, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Mexico. Pastor Tim married Kimberly in 1992 and they have one son, Cayden.

    SHERIL SHAW

    Sheril has been leading worship since her teen years in the Pentecostal church of God Assembly. She discovered that worship is not just what she does but who she is and she continues to seek to cultivate an atmosphere of Freedom and full surrender through worship. Sheril began attending Bethel Ottawa September 2018 where she now serves as the Worship, Creative Arts & Production Pastor. Sheril is excited to be serving here at Bethel in her fourth year after serving her first year as the interim Creative Arts and Worship Director. Sheril is in full anticipation of what God is doing and is going to continue to do in and through the Creative department and his church as a whole. And looks forward to the impact Bethel will be and continue to be in the Ottawa area, Canada, and the World. Praise is not what we do, but it is who we are. Let’s continue to praise him together.

    SEAMUS WILLBOND

    Hello Everyone! I am Seamus Willbond, I am 20 years old and I currently attend Summit Pacific College in Abbotsford, British Columbia. I’ve been saved for the last 6 years and over that time God has been extremely faithful and my walk God has lead me here to serve His people! I am extremely excited to serve with the youth for theses next two weeks! Little fun fact about me…I was late to my own baptism once.

All campers ages 2-17 must be registered online prior to attending their first service or program.  CLICK HERE to be redirected to the form. 


Please note that all kids programs during FC are free of charge, and the form is only required to be completed once.
